RLV Updates (15/02/2012)

There are updates of the control files for some Real Life Videos, such as corrections of the height profiles or changes to the definition of subsections or infotexts. For installation please download and run the file RLVUpdatesSetup.exe. This will replace all necessary files (changes to this files will get lost, but backups are created).

During installation you can select the location of the files. This is preset to the default location of the selected player. In case of the TacxFortius software used, there are subdirectories created in the video folder of the RLV. For this reason, the video for TacxFortius software must be located in their own directories on a hard drive.

Currently there are the following updates:
Redefinition of TTS-subsections: Tindevegen, Lindås, Ebeltoft, South Boston, Hunsrück and Dobel.

All further files concern the introduction of info boxes.

Info boxes (15/02/2012)

Now there are info boxes for all RLVs produced by me. Info boxes show interesting informations during training. These informations are currently available for all videos since season 2008/2009. All videos newly contain subsections of the tour.

Here you can download the info boxes setup program: RLVUpdatesSetup.exe. It's the same setup as for RLV updates and subject to the same information (see above).

Tacx Videoplayer

With the Video Player from Tacx you can play Real Life Videos without your trainer having to be connected to your computer. You can now experience every course in the world with every possible ergotrainer, cycletrainer, a fitnessbike or cycletrainer.

For the installation of my videos you have to download and run the file VideoPlayerSetup.exe. Then you select which of my Real Life Videos you want to install. You can also select a different location for the videos. Let the path unchanged, the videos are installed in standard Video Player video directory. The subfolders Videos\Reallifevideo.de are created in the selected directory. Finally you have to copy the videos from the DVD into this folder. Now the videos are properly recognized in Video Player. If this does not work yet, you can use the "Search" function in Video Player to find the video.
