The biosphere tour leads as a circular route from Dahn from the southern part of the biosphere reserve Palatinate Forest between the Wieslauter in the east, the Sauer in the south and the small brooks Fischbach and Moosbach in the west and north. The biosphere tour uses these four stream valleys as comfortable stretches, but must overcome their watersheds in two climbs, which happens on quiet, own ways without any traffic. The entire circuit is characterized by a change of dense forests and open valley meadows with quietly embedded villages. With a share of 80% in forest and farm roads, the biosphere tour offers one of the most beautiful insights into the landscape of the majestic forests.
