For the final of the Germany Tour on August 26, 2018, Stuttgart was the starting and finishing point of a Jedermann race for the first time. The route under the motto "Region Stuttgart. Your Tour." follows parts of the original track of the pros. Before the final stage around 3,000 amateur cyclists tackled two different route variants.
We drive on the track of the larger "round through the Stuttgart region" with actually 117 km and 1340 vertical meters. Unfortunately, due to technical problems with the recording, the last 30 km are missing with about 500 meters of altitude difference - nevertheless, it is a varied and exciting tour.
After the start, it goes via Bad Cannstatt and Untertürkheim to Köngen, Wernau, and Wendlingen to Kirchheim unter Teck. Then through Notzingen and Roßwälden to Ebersbach, where soon the 11 km long main climb begins. This ends after Nassachmühle and Baiereck at Schlichten. Continue on Schorndorf and Weiler to Remshalden and Beinstein, where shortly after the recording ends.
