The Klosterwege (Monastery trails) are part of a series of tours in the northern Black Forest that I will publish in the near future. Some say no, when the speech on the Black Forest is coming. Many of the well-known climbs in the south are too tough. The northern Black Forest, however, is diverse, you will find a lot of gently curved roads, where the meters in altitude add up to modest sums and the percentage of inclines remains moderate.
The second part of this tour also leads through some villages with well-known monasteries in the region, above all the Maulbronn monastery. This time the difficulties are mainly in the second part of the route with over 600 meters of altitude of over 1000 meters. After starting in Hohenhaslach, it first goes via Häfnerhaslach and Freudenstein to Maulbronn. Then via Ötisheim, Mühlacker, Wiernsheim and Wimsheim to Tiefenbronn and finally through Neuhausen to the end of the tour in Bad Liebenzell.
